All too often, trying to coordinate the landscape, the direction a building faces, the landscape, and the angle of the sun makes taking photos of a building (inside or out) amongst the most challenging tasks in photography. Often images with dark shadows and bright direct sunlight leave regions of pure black or white where there should be texture and detail.
Gary uses the potential of HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography to capture the full range of light in an image. The final image displays the full texture and range of shadows, highlights, and everything in between.
Most of the images in this site were not taken with respects to the "best time of the day" to help illustrate what can be done with this type of photography. Other homes, have so much foliage around them that there really isn't a good time of day.
